During the tour, the South Korean
delegation visited cultural and tourism landmarks including Tianmen
Mountain, the Tujia Brocade Cultural Creative Park, the 72 Unusual
Houses, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Baofeng Lake, and Zhangjiajie
Grand Canyon. The visitors gained an in-depth understanding of
Zhangjiajie's achievements in the advancement of the ecological
environment and the development of cultural and creative industries,
immersing themselves in local folk customs, and experiencing firsthand
the vibrant vitality of Zhangjiajie's integrated cultural and tourism
development.
Kim Gi-heon, head of the Korea Creative Content Agency Beijing Business
Center, noted that Zhangjiajie is a popular tourist destination among
South Koreans, and its popularity has continued to rise in recent years
with the spread of South Korean films and television productions. He
added that deepening bilateral cooperation in areas such as culture,
film and television can further enhance the competitiveness of
Zhangjiajie's cultural and tourism sector and attract more South Korean
tourists to the area.

Gangwon Province and Zhangjiajie share similar natural and cultural
resources, making them ideal partners. He expressed the hope that both
sides would further deepen practical cooperation in areas such as
culture and tourism, as well as youth exchanges, to promote friendly
exchanges between the two regions.
As a world-renowned tourist destination and a key window for the opening
of Hunan Province, Zhangjiajie hosts regular exchange activities with
multiple cities in South Korea, including cultural and tourism
promotion, cultural visits, and friendship city interactions. The city
serves as a vital link for friendly exchanges and cultural and tourism
cooperation between Hunan and South Korea.
