During the Spring Festival holiday, the Mangshan Mountain Scenic Area
launched a "Foreigners Celebrate the Yao New Year" event, further
enhancing the destination's international appeal.
After taking the cable car straight to the 1,700-meter summit of Tiantai
Mountain, a group of foreign influencers were greeted by a breathtaking
panorama. The majestic sea of clouds left the visitors awestruck,
prompting them to raise their cameras and capture the stunning moment.
A Korean influencer remarked, "Mangshan Mountain is truly
breathtaking—like a stunning painting. Seeing the sea of clouds here
fills my heart with joy. Celebrating the New Year here feels incredibly
fortunate. I'll definitely recommend this place to my family and
relatives."

The event attracted numerous foreign influencers. They admired Mangshan Mountain's stunning landscapes, experienced Yao ethnic rituals and bamboo pole dancing, soaked in hot springs, and savored unique local dishes in a cave restaurant, all immersing themselves in splendid charm and hospitality. The foreign visitors also shared their experience through short videos on online platforms.
Zhao Yuying, head of new media operations at Mangshan Mountain National Forest Park, noted, "The Spring Festival is a traditional festival in China. In order to promote our tourism brand to more international friends, we specially invited foreign influencers to celebrate the Yao New Year in Mangshan Mountain, enabling visitors worldwide to better understand our distinctive folk culture."
