From the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Hunan Provincial People's Government
Since the novel coronavirus pneumonia broke out, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee, the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial People’s Government have thoroughly implemented President Xi Jinping’s important instructions. Epidemic prevention and control is the most critical work at present, with the people’s lives and health as the first priority. The CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial People’s Government have been leading people across the province to battle the virus with concerted efforts, scientific containment and targeted policies.
At this critical juncture, a number of departments, enterprises, institutions and organizations, overseas Chinese, international friends, and people of all walks of life, have shown great concern about Hunan’s needs, and provided strong assistance in Hunan’s epidemic prevention and control.
Many international organizations and friends have sent letters of consolation and extended greetings to Hunan, including: Bebenin, Chairman of the Leningrad Oblast Legislative Assembly (Russian Federation); Lincolnshire County Executive Councilor Colin Davie (UK); Mr. LOH Tuck Keat, Consulate General of the Republic of Singapore in Guangzhou; Consulate General of the South Korea in Guangzhou; and, Consulate General of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay in Guangzhou.
The Red Cross Society of China (RCSC), Guangdong Branch Red Cross Society of China, Hunan General Chamber of Commerce and Hunan Fellow Townsmen Association in the UK, Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Thailand, Association of Returned Overseas Chinese in Thailand, Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Laos, Hunan Chamber of Commerce in United Arab Emirates, Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Algeria, Hunan Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands, Association of Chinese People in New Zealand, Xiangya Overseas Alumni Association, and Hunan Fellow Townsmen Association in Los Angeles and Florida have actively donated money and materials to aid Hunan’s epidemic prevention and control efforts.
A large number of enterprises inside and outside the province, including China Southern Airlines, China Railway Guangzhou Group, Zoomlion, Sany Heavy Industry, Hunan Construction Engineering Group, Valin Group, Ausnutria, Sansure Biotech, Kingdee, Kouweiwang Group, Lens Technology, U-Home Group, and Juewei Food, have given full play to their respective advantages, shouldered their social responsibilities bravely, actively donated money and materials, opened up green channels, greatly relieved the shortage of epidemic prevention materials, and played a leading role at a critical moment.
A large number of individuals have made generous donations, including Zhou Qunfei, chairwoman of Lens Technology; Fu Jun, chairman of the Board of Directors of Macrolink Group; Chen Bang, chairman of Aier Eye Hospital Group; Ye Jingtao, chairman of Kingsky Group Macau; Li Tao, member of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee; and Xiang Xingyu, an Australian overseas Chinese.
There are also units, groups, and individuals who have not been included in the statistics at the moment or who have not yet registered their names. They have given great support and assistance through various methods and channels. The Hunan people have always kept in mind the sympathy, support, and help of all parties and expressed their gratitude for the deeds in the epidemic prevention and control in our province. Here we want to say sincerely: Thank you!
"The snow tells that the spring is approaching." No winter is insurmountable, and no disaster is insurmountable. Although epidemic prevention and control situation is still severe and complex, the general trend is improving and the whole Hunan social situation safe and stable. We are fully confident and capable of defeating the epidemic. Hunan Province is, in accordance with the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, implementing detailed prevention and control measures. We will fully support, organize, and promote the enterprises production resumption; coordinate the work of reform, development, and stability; and, strive to ensure that the epidemic situation is resolutely contained while the normal economic and social order maintained. We firmly believe that with the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core; the strong support and active participation of all sectors of society; and the unification of the cadres and the masses in the province, Hunan will surely win the battle against epidemic!

中国红十字会总会、广东省红十字会、英国湖南总商会和同乡会、泰国湖南商会、泰国侨联、老挝湖南商会、阿联酋湖南商会、阿尔及利亚湖南商会、荷兰湖南商会、新西兰华人华侨联合会、湘雅海外校友会、美国洛杉矶和佛罗里达州同乡会等积极捐款捐物，倾情助力湖南疫情防控。
南航、广铁、中联重科、三一重工、建工集团、华菱集团、澳优乳业、圣湘生物、金蝶软件、口味王集团、蓝思科技、宇业集团、绝味食品等一大批省内外企业，发挥各自优势，勇担社会责任，积极捐款捐物，开辟绿色通道，有力缓解了防疫物资紧缺的燃眉之急，充分发挥了关键时刻挑大梁的关键作用。
